June 27 – July 1: Exploring from Sea to Shore
Campers will take a virtual voyage into the world of wildlife as they learn about animals in different environments, from the sea to the shore.
Wild About Wildlife Virtual Summer Camp
Join Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center®, Loggerhead Marinelife Center Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, and Zoo Miami as we embark on an action-packed virtual summer adventure.
Camp coordinators may complete one registration per camp for login access.
Our week-long virtual camp experiences will feature half-day schedules filled with
animal observations, experiments, games, crafts and educational lessons hosted by
educators from each organization, and will be focused on wildlife and the environment.
Themes will vary each week throughout the summer and activities will be tied to the
weekly theme. Lessons are targeted for children ages 6 to 9, however other ages are
welcome to register and participate. Camp sessions will feature a variety of live* lessons
and video recordings, as well as supplemental at-home activities and printables.
*Please note, lives sessions offered on Zoom are limited to the first 100 campers who
access the link. If you are unable to view the live lesson, the lesson will be recorded and
posted in the classroom afterwards.
Registration is required for all participants. Parents and legal guardians may complete
one registration per household. There is no fee for individuals and families to
participate, however voluntary donations will be accepted and will be evenly distributed
among organizations which helped to make this program possible to support their
environmental and educational missions. Thank you for your generosity during this
challenging time.
