Kids Fishing Program

Participants will learn basic techniques for fishing from a fishing pier including knot tying, casting, fish handling, and proper catch-and-release techniques. In addition to fishing skills, participants will learn to be ethical anglers and discover how to reduce their impact on marine life including sea turtles and shore birds! Fish caught during this program will always be released. All fishing equipment and bait is provided, please see details during registration for recommended items to bring. 

PLEASE NOTE: this program meets at the Juno Beach Pier.  Please meet your program leaders at the picnic tables in front of the pier bait house for check-in.  Do not go onto the pier.

 

Participants should wear and/or bring the following:

  • sunscreen
  • weather appropriate clothing
  • closed toe shoes
  • hat and sunglasses
  • snacks
  • reusable water bottle
Cost
$12.00 per Participant
Cancellation Policy
LMC cannot offer refunds within 60 days of the scheduled program unless the program is cancelled by LMC staff, a refund will be issued within 7-10 business days. Our programs run rain or shine and refunds will not be offered for weather-related reasons outside of those outlined in the cancellation policy. If there is a conflict with your reservation you may be eligible for a transfer or credit. Transfers and credit inquires must be requested 48 hours prior to the program.
